Who we are
findmeal is an independent app based in Sweden ("findmeal", "we", "us"). These terms cover the findmeal iOS app and this website. By using either, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use findmeal.
Your account
You sign in with your Apple ID. Keep your device secure: you're responsible for what happens on your account. You need to be at least 13 years old to use findmeal. If you're under the age of majority where you live, you confirm a parent or guardian has agreed to these terms for you.
Recommendations are suggestions
Matches, vibe scores and review summaries are generated automatically, partly with AI, from public and partner information. They can be wrong. Opening hours, prices, menus and allergen information change, so double-check with the restaurant before you go, especially if you have allergies or dietary needs.
Play nice
Don't spam your squad, harass anyone, scrape or reverse-engineer the app, overload our servers, pretend to be someone else, or use findmeal for anything illegal. We may suspend or remove accounts that do.
Restaurants and other services
Directions, bookings and maps may open other services, like Apple Maps or Google Maps, with their own terms. We're not responsible for those services or for the restaurants themselves, including their food, service or prices.
Our stuff
findmeal is free to use. The app, its design, name and logo belong to us. You may use the app for your own personal, non-commercial use; you may not copy, resell or redistribute it.
No guarantees
We work hard to keep findmeal useful and running, but we provide it "as is" and can't promise it will always be available, accurate or error-free. To the extent the law allows, we're not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for anything that happens at a restaurant you found through the app. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer that can't be waived by contract.
Your privacy
How we handle your data is explained in our privacy policy.
Leaving
You can delete your account at any time from your profile settings in the app, or by emailing us. We may change or end the service, and we'll give you reasonable notice when we do.
Changes and governing law
We'll tell you in the app before important changes to these terms take effect; continuing to use findmeal after that means you accept them. These terms are governed by the laws of Sweden, and disputes go to the Swedish courts, without affecting any mandatory consumer protections of the country where you live. Questions? Get in touch.
